QUESTION: How do I become a member?

Spiritual Life Center warmly invites you to become a new member. We are pleased to announce a new track for becoming a member. We will be offering four membership opportunities this year. Since it is important for members to understand the foundational spiritual principles of Spiritual Life Center, we ask prospective members to attend both the New Thought Basics Classes (pts 1 & 2) and the New Member Orientation session.

QUESTION: How do I make prayer or healing request?

There are a number of ways to make a prayer or healing request:

  • Call SLC Prayer Line at 448-6508, Ext. 113
  • Request prayer assistance from a member of the Prayer Chaplain Team after Sunday worship services (Chaplains pray with you in complete confidence in the sacred space of possibility.)
  • Call Silent Unity Prayer Line at:

  • Visit the Silent Unity website for inspiration and prayer.
  • Submit an online prayer request to Silent Unity.

Silent Unity prayer assistance is available any time of the night or day. Every request is kept confidential and receives loving, compassionate attention. It is our honor to pray with you whenever you want the support of praying friends.

SLC has staff of Unity and Interfaith ministers available for spiritual guidance consultations. Contact the church office at 448-6508 to make an appointment.

QUESTION: How do I schedule a wedding consultation?

Spiritual Life Center offers a variety of packages for on-site and off-site ceremonies for Weddings. The Pioneer sanctuary can hold large groups up to 350 people and the SLC sanctuary can accommodate a more intimate group up to 120 people with a reception hall accommodating up to 100 guests. SLC offers a full-service kitchen when needed.

Call the church office to schedule an appointment with a minister. In preparation for the scheduled appointment, please complete the Wedding Reservation Form to begin your wedding planning activities.

Spiritual Life Center has a team of Unity and Interfaith ministers who are available to conduct memorial services for members of the SLC congregation, as well as non-members.

QUESTION: How do I access the online SLC Events Calendar?

QUESTION: What is 24/7 Church?

Since our current culture is moving more and more towards a 24/7 (24 hours a day--7 days a week) culture in general, Spiritual Life Center has taken steps to provide online capabilities for the SLC congregation.

SLC provides web access for SLC congregants using Shelby Webview to be able to update their personal profiles (contact information) and access the online directory of SLC congregants. In addition, the online donation system is also available.

QUESTION: What is Shelby Webview?

SLC uses an internet-based software product for processing online donations.  Webview/eDonation is safe and secure.  Each congregant that donates to SLC is already registered as a user once an offering donation has been processed by SLC finance staff.   Webview integrates with the internal SLC contribution tracking system which is used to produce annual contribution records for tax purposes in January of each year.

Each Webview registered user has a unique login and password that guarantees protection against unauthorized access.  New congregants may register and will be given a login and password after they have been added to the database.  All registered users can update their personal data to reflect change of address, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. which are synchronized to update the SLC internal database.

QUESTION: How do I setup automatic offering donations (EFT) to SLC?

There are several ways to donate automatically to Spiritual Life Center:  (1) utilize Online Banking at your personal bank where a printed check is created and mailed to SLC; (2) complete the necessary authorization forms and submit to SLC to setup donations for you; or (3) setup your own account utilizing SLC’s Webview program to automatically withdraw the funds from either your checking/savings or credit card accounts. By setting up your own Webview account, you will be able to make changes as desired.  NOTE:  Automatic donations can be designated to the General Fund or Building Fund.

How to Setup Checking/Savings Automatic Donations (New Donation or Change to Existing Donation)

  1. Complete the EFT Checking/Savings Authorization Form.
  2. Attach a voided check from your checking/savings account to the form.
  3. Deliver to the Cashier Table in the lobby at SCC Performing Arts Center on Sundays OR mail to SLC, PO Box 60036, Sacramento, CA 95860-0036.
  4. Upon receipt of the authorization form and voided check, SLC finance staff will setup the automatic donation. 
  5. You will receive an email with the subject of ONLINE GIVING notifying you that the automatic donation setup is complete.
  6. After the automatic donation is setup, SLC finance staff destroys your banking information.  No record of your account is kept on file.

How to Setup Credit Card Automatic Donations (New or Change to Existing Donation)

  1. Complete the EFT Credit Card Authorization Form.
  2. Deliver the completed form to the Cashier Table in the lobby at SCC Performing Arts Center on Sundays OR mail to SLC, PO Box 60036, Sacramento, CA 95860-0036.

QUESTION: How do I cancel my EFT donation?

    1. Send an email to EFT@slcworld.org to request your EFT be cancelled. 
    1. A confirmation email notice will be sent to you notifying you that your automatic donation has been cancelled.

    QUESTION: How do I register for classes, events, or workshops?

    Signups for classes, events and workshops are held in Fellowship Courtyard on Sundays after service. In addition, you may call the church office at 448-6508,or register online by using the Events Registration icon on the SLC home page.
